Table games supervisor, casino pit supervisor, floor person, human resources departments in various casinos worldwide have similar names for this job position. Generally the first level of supervisory position that is responsible for the management and operation of one or more of your casinos table games. To the playing public in our casinos, this job position is generically lumped together and called "Pit Boss".


While the casino industry has changed immensely over the last 40 years, the role of this person, this "Pit Boss" if you will, has changed little. This lack of change in the role of this supervisor that should have been commensurate with the rest of the gaming industry has had adverse results for table games departments. Therefore, table games supervisors have key roles in keeping pace with the trend of the gaming industry and supervising effectively becomes crucial.

Qualified Gaming Supervisor

To become a qualified gaming supervisor in our association, members have to pass our certification exam. Our high-quality exams are designed to ensure maximum value to the members and the gaming industry.

The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions that must be answered. All test questions are designed to test the candidate's mastery of various competencies derived from key areas of knowledge in combination with skills practiced. The key areas of testing are:
